Showcase Sunday consists of books we received in the last week, hosted by Books, Biscuits, and Tea.
If you've noticed, my blog's been lacking a little bit this past week. Due to life getting in the way of my reading, I will be slowing down with my book reviews. The good news is I've begin house hunting (and that will be taking up the majority of my time). The bad news is my car broke down on Friday (great way to start the weekend, I know). So, hopefully you'll hear from me every once in a while, just not as often.
Won:
- The First Days by Rhiannon Frater
- Amazon | Book Depository | Goodreads
- I was excited to pick out a book of choice when I won this giveaway. Then I realized how difficult it is to pick just one book. So, I settled for The First Days which I've heard is awesome! I'm looking forward to this nitty-gritty zombie read. Thanks goes to LC's Adventures in Libraryland for hosting the giveaway!
- Glimmer by Phoebe Kitanidis (signed) plus swag
- Amazon | Book Depository | Goodreads
- I was super excited when I saw the email saying I won this goodie. This has been in my to-obtain-and-read pile since I heard about it. So, really glad I got my own signed copy. And bookmarks! Did I mention that I collect bookmarks! As soon as my husband saw what was in my hands, he immediately asked to borrow a bookmark (he's not allowed to borrow them - he loses them). Anyways, thanks goes to Jenny at Books to the Sky and Phoebe Kitanidis for this giveaway!
Purchased (e-edition):
Once Bitten by Trina Lee
I've become a fan of Smashwords lately, and I snagged this freebie. I'm always looking for a good adult paranormal read.
Crimson Rain by Vanessa Finaughty
A very, super short read that I picked up. It had high ratings and an interesting premise. So I thought, why not?

Glimmer looks SO good! I've seen this one a lot lately and I really want to read it. :) I'm the same as you, blogging wise: life got in the way and I had to slow down with everything blog/reading related. I hope you manage to find a lovely house! Good luck! :)
