I read the first book in this series over the summer.  And it introduced me to the mythological fantasy genre.  And I loved it.  I enjoyed the romance and the plot and the hate and the need to kill other scions, etc etc.  But don't take my word for it, go prepare yourself for this book by reading Starcrossed.
